Merlin is a world leader in the field of horizontal, high angle and extended reach drilling. Since the company was formed in 2007, Merlin has supported around 250 horizontal, high angle, ERD and complex individual wells or projects. The value Merlin adds comes from the experience and insight gained drilling the most challenging, horizontal, high angle and complex wells in the world. In 2018, the company achieved its highest ever turnover and is set to build upon this great foundation in 2019. This year has seen the ERD envelope pushed for clients in Australia and Merlin were involved with complex deep-water wells in the Great Southern and Pacific Oceans.
